Coach Nick Offerman is enjoying being a head coach with Kendall County Rebels. His love for the game dates all the way back to T-ball. He played through all levels of the Minooka School District. In highschool, he was a three-sport athlete and was named All State his senior year which helped him continue to Division 1 baseball at Northern Illinois University as a pitcher. After earning his Electrical Engineering degree, he coached his younger brother’s 16U Minooka baseball team.
After moving to Yorkville, he continues his passion for baseball by coaching his sons and the other amazing youth of our local communities. The Rebels organization values family and encourages their athletes to continue with other hobbies, interests, and sports as well, which was a good fit for his family of five. Besides keeping open communication with the families, he firmly believes in teaching the fundamentals of baseball, encouraging the importance of teamwork, learning the value of hard work, grit, determination, and building good character for his players to exhibit not only on the field, but into life.
